My toaster...toasting.
yes, that's really the color the sky was.
Yesterday, I was straightening things up to mop my kitchen floor. I had a bunch of wine bottles sitting on the desk for the sever computer in the kitchen, to take back to my dad. He makes wine, so when he gives me some, I have to bring the bottles back...I usually forget though, so I end up with a whole bunch of them in my kitchen. Anyway, there was a bunch of these bottles, and I knocked one over, and it landed top side down right on the nail of my right big toe. Here's some clip art I crudely spliced together to illustrate my point:
Now, you'd expect it to hurt, but I wouldn't have expected it to have hurt as much as it did. I'm glad I don't have neighbours in the other half of my duplex anymore, because I'm sure they would have heard me swearing. And then my toe nail started to change color. It was light blue, then blueish green and then by this morning it was quite purpley.
Pretty, huh? If I'm lucky it'll just turn black and then grow out. But I'm not lucky, so I'm likely going to loose my toenail. Just in time for it to be cold enough that I'll have to swap my sandals for sneakers. Just lovely.
It's kind of blurry, but I liked the lighting.
