My toe has gotten suddenly a lot better. I still have my nail, but I'm still not convinced that it's not going to fall off, however since yesterday I have more hope.
This is what my toe looked like on Wednesday, one week after I hurt it:
Still pretty gross and purple. It didn't really hurt much anymore, but it felt really tight and swollen and...weird. This is what it looked like yesterday afternoon(and pretty well what it looks like now), though:
Yesterday, I was straightening things up to mop my kitchen floor. I had a bunch of wine bottles sitting on the desk for the sever computer in the kitchen, to take back to my dad. He makes wine, so when he gives me some, I have to bring the bottles back...I usually forget though, so I end up with a whole bunch of them in my kitchen. Anyway, there was a bunch of these bottles, and I knocked one over, and it landed top side down right on the nail of my right big toe. STUART, Fla. - A man with mischief afoot entered a home and licked the toe of a sleeping woman over the weekend, police said. The man reportedly licked the woman's left big toe while she was sleeping early Sunday, the Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers reported.
The woman was sleeping next to her husband, who chased the suspect from the house and down the street.
The suspect was wearing a black, hooded sweat shirt, white shorts and white shoes.
umm...what the hell? people are sick, man. I mean, not so much the toe licking part. Although its odd, you know, whatever, to each their own. but to break into someone's house, and lick her toe, while she was sleeping, and while her husband slept beside her? That's just...bizzare.
